Change or reset your password

You can change your password for security reasons or reset it if you forget it. Your Google Account password is used to access many Google products, like Gmail and YouTube.

How do I change my Google Account password?

  1. Open your Google Account. You might need to sign in.
  2. At the top left, click Security.
  3. In the section "How you sign in to Google," click Password. You might need to sign in again.
  4. Enter your new password, then select Change Password.
