You can change your Wi-Fi password at any time. When you change your password, you'll need to reconnect any wireless devices on your Wi-Fi network using the new password.
To change your GFiber Wi-Fi password:
-
In your web browser, go to your GFiber account and sign in.
-
Select Network at the top-left corner, then select Edit Network Settings in the center of the page.
-
Enter a new password in the "Primary network password" field.
Your Wi-Fi password is case-sensitive and should be between 8 and 63 characters. Like the wireless network name (SSID), if your password is outside of this character limit, or if there is an accidental space at the beginning or end, you may have connection issues.
The characters will appear as dots to keep your password private. To see your password, click the visibility icon .
We recommend writing down your Wi-Fi password and storing it in an easy-to-find place.
If you have a separate Network name for your 5 GHz network and you change your password, the password will be changed for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. The password is always the same for both networks.
-
Click Save. The settings take effect immediately. If the device you're using is connected wirelessly to your GFiber network, you must reconnect using the new password.
