Google Drive storage space for GFiber customers

All Google Drive users receive 15 gigabytes of free storage across Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos. Google Drive allows you to store all kinds of files, like photos, videos, music, and more by simply dragging and dropping them in.

If you’re a GFiber customer, you have access to Google Drive via your Google account. Visit drive.google.com in any web browser, then sign in using your name and password when prompted — and boom! You're all set.

Google Drive is available for:

  • Windows
  • macOS
  • iOS
  • Android
  • ChromeOS

If you signed up for GFiber before May 2024

GFiber residential customers who signed up for 1 Gig or faster plans before April 2024 received an additional 1 TB of free Google Drive storage space. These customers will retain the additional storage space unless they downgrade to a plan below 1 Gig, receive additional storage space through a separate Google product or service,  or cancel their GFiber account (see below for more details).

Some important things to note:

  • If you have a GFiber plan that's 1 Gig or faster and you downgrade to a plan below 1 Gig, or if you cancel your GFiber or Google One account, you’ll lose the additional 1 terabyte of free Google Drive storage. Your storage limit will be set back to the free level of 15 gigabytes. For additional information, please view the How your Google storage works page.
    • Everything stored in Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail will still be accessible, but you won't be able to create or add anything new that puts you over the free storage limit.
    • If you’re over your storage quota for 2 years, all the content that counts toward your storage quota may be deleted. For additional information, please view the Purchase, cancellation, & refund policies page.
  • The additional 1 TB of free Google Drive storage provided by GFiber is not available for customers who receive additional storage through other Google storage plans or promotions, such as a storage plan with Google One.

See the Google Drive website and Google Drive Help Center for more details about using your free storage space on Google Drive.
