You can copy files to an existing folder on your device.
Copy files from the Categories section
- On your Android device, open Files by Google .
- Under 'Categories', select a category.
- Find the files that you'd like to copy.
- To copy one file:
- In grid view :
- Press and hold the file.
- Tap More Copy to.
- In list view : Next to the file, tap More Copy to.
- In grid view :
- To copy multiple files:
- In grid view :
- Press and hold a file that you'd like to copy.
- To select more files, tick the circle at the top of each file that you'd like to copy.
- At the top right, tap More Copy to.
- Press and hold a file that you'd like to copy.
- In list view :
- Next to the file, tap More .
- Next to each file that you'd like to copy, tick the circle.
- At the top right, tap More Copy to.
- In grid view :
- To copy one file:
- Choose the folder into which you'd like to copy the file.
- Enter the folder name in the pop-up.
- Tap Copy here.
Copy files from the Storage devices section
- On your Android device, open Files by Google .
- Scroll to 'Storage devices'.
- Tap Internal storage.
- Find the folder with the files that you'd like to copy.
- Find the files that you'd like to copy.
- To copy one file:
- In grid view :
- Press and hold the file.
- Tap More Copy to.
- In list view : Next to the file, tap More Copy to.
- In grid view :
- To copy multiple files:
- In grid view :
- Press and hold a file that you'd like to copy.
- To select more files, tick the circle at the top of each file that you'd like to copy.
- At the top right, tap More Copy to.
