As we create more parity between Google Analytics for Firebase and Google Analytics 4 properties, you'll see changes in the Analytics for Firebase interface that align features with Google Analytics 4 as of October 13, 2021.
Google Analytics for Firebase feature | Change to align with Google Analytics 4 |
---|---|
Dashboard |
Displays the same data you see in Google Analytics 4 Reports > App developer > Firebase. Filters have been replaced by comparisons. |
Realtime |
Displays the same Realtime report as Google Analytics 4. Filters have been replaced by comparisons. |
Retention | Retention data is now visible in the Dashboard > User activity by cohort card. |
Funnels |
The Funnels feature was removed from Analytics for Firebase as of December 2021. Going forward, use the funnel exploration technique in Google Analytics 4 Explorations. |
Events and conversions |
The Events report displays the same data you see in Configure > Events in Google Analytics 4. The Conversions report displays the same data you see in Configure > Conversions in Google Analytics 4. The attribution-model selector, previously available in the first_open conversion report, is now available in the Google Analytics 4 property under Admin > property column > Attribution settings. By default, attribution is set to "cross-channel last click". |
Settings | Integration settings for upgraded projects have moved to the Google Analytics 4 interface. |
