You can track your respiratory rate with your phone to understand your body’s wellbeing.

Measure your respiratory rate with your phone
Important: Google Fit can only measure your respiratory rate on some Android phones.
- On your phone, open the Google Fit app .
- At the bottom, tap Home.
- Scroll to “Respiratory rate” and tap Add .
- Position yourself in the frame, follow the on-screen instructions and remain still.
- Breathe normally until tracking is complete.
- Tap Save.
Tip: For best results, sit down and prop your phone up to reduce movement.
- On your phone, open the Google Fit app .
- At the bottom, tap Home.
- Scroll to “Respiratory rate” and tap More .
- You’ll find your respiratory rate history by Week, Month, or Year.
