Control Google Fit on your Assistant devices

You can change your Google Assistant’s access to your Google Fit data at any time.

Turn off Assistant access to sleep data

Important: When you turn off Assistant access to sleep data, you also disable sleep sensing on any Nest devices connected to your Assistant.

  1. On your device, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. At the bottom, tap Profile.
  3. At the top, tap Settings Settings.
  4. Under “Google Fit data and personalization,“ tap Manage Google Assistant.
  5. Turn off Sleep.
  6. To confirm, tap Turn off.

Turn off Assistant access to respiratory data

  1. On your device, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. At the bottom, tap Profile.
  3. At the top, tap Settings Settings.
  4. Under “Google Fit data and personalization,” tap Manage Google Assistant.
  5. Turn off Respiration data.
  6. To confirm, tap Turn off.
