Add and edit fitness activities

You can manually add activity to your Google Fit activity history or edit an activity that’s already there. You can also start challenges, log your weight and more. 

Add information

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. At the bottom right, tap Add Add data.
  3. Choose an option:
    • Add blood pressure Add blood pressure.
    • Add weight Add weight.
    • Add activity Add activity.
    • Track workout Track workout.

Edit your activity

Once you complete your activity or workout, it will save to your journal in Google Fit. If the activity wasn’t saved correctly, you can change it.

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. Tap Journal.
  3. Tap the activity that you want to change.
  4. At the top, tap More More and then Edit.

Add info that you didn't track with Fit

If you don't have your device with you as you walk, run or cycle, you can add those activities to Google Fit later. You can also add weight changes or activities that Fit doesn't automatically track (such as weightlifting, rowing or baseball).

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. At the bottom right, tap Add Add data.
  3. Tap Add weight Add weight or Add activity Add activity.
  4. Enter your information and tap Save.
