Your watch and phone will sync when they’re connected to Wi-Fi. If your watch and phone show different info, you may need to wait for them to sync.
Tip: Syncing only happens occasionally and it helps your battery to last longer.
Make sure that your watch and phone can sync
Fit only works on smartwatches with Wear OS.
- On your phone, keep Bluetooth turned on.
- Make sure that your watch and phone are connected. Learn how to connect to Wear OS watches.
- Keep your phone connected to Wi-Fi.
Use the same account on your watch and phone
- On your phone, open the Google Fit app .
- At the bottom, tap Profile. You’ll find the account that you used to sign in.
- On your watch, swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Tap Settings Personalisation Accounts. You’ll find the account that you used to sign in.
