I get different info on my watch and phone

Your watch and phone will sync when they’re connected to Wi-Fi. If your watch and phone show different info, you may need to wait for them to sync.

Tip: Syncing only happens occasionally and it helps your battery to last longer.

Force sync your watch and phone

  1. On your phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. At the bottom, tap Journal.
  3. At the top, tap Sync Sync.

Make sure that your watch and phone can sync

Fit only works on smartwatches with Wear OS.

  1. On your phone, keep Bluetooth turned on.
  2. Make sure that your watch and phone are connected. Learn how to connect to Wear OS watches.
  3. Keep your phone connected to Wi-Fi.

Use the same account on your watch and phone

  1. On your phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. At the bottom, tap Profile. You’ll find the account that you used to sign in.
  3. On your watch, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  4. Tap Settings  and then Personalisation and then Accounts. You’ll find the account that you used to sign in.
  5. If they’re not the same, sign in to the same account on both devices. Learn how to switch accounts on your watch.
