How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device?

Alarms on your Fitbit device vibrate to gently awake or alert you at a set time.

Note that alarms you set in the Alarms app  on Fitbit Sense, Fitbit Sense 2, Fitbit Versa 2, Fitbit Versa 3, and Fitbit Versa 4 are separate from alarms you set with your voice assistant. For more information on using your voice assistant to set alarms, see How do I use a voice assistant on my Fitbit smartwatch?

How do I set an alarm on my Fitbit device?

For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Charge 4, Fitbit Charge 5, Fitbit Charge 6, Fitbit Inspire 3, Fitbit Luxe, Fitbit Sense series, and Fitbit Versa series, set alarms on your device.

For all other Fitbit devices, set alarms in the Fitbit app.

Fitbit devices
  1. On your device, open the Alarms app. You see your next scheduled alarms and the option to set a new alarm.
  2. Tap + New Alarm. Swipe up to see this option if you already created multiple alarms.
  3. Set the alarm:
    • Sense 2 and Versa 4–Swipe up and down to set the alarm time. Tap am or pm. When you’re done, tap the time to set it. If you want to choose additional days when the alarm should alert you, tap the alarm to edit it further.
    • Sense and Versa 3—Swipe up and down to set the alarm time. Tap am or pm. When you’re done, tap the time to set it.

  4. Choose to turn on Smart Wake. When enabled, Smart Wake attempts to find the best time to wake you starting 30 minutes before the alarm time you set. It avoids waking you during deep sleep so you're more likely to wake up feeling refreshed. If Smart Wake can’t find the best time to wake you, your alarm alerts you at the set time.
