What should I know about participating in a Fitbit Care program?

What is Fitbit Care?
Fitbit Care is an optional membership program offered by a sponsoring organization, like your employer or a health plan. A Fitbit care program may include: Fitbit devices at no charge or a discount, access to Fitbit Premium, and a private community for members of the program. Contact your program provider to learn more about what's included in your Fitbit Care program.
How do I order a Fitbit device for my Fitbit Care program?
  1. Visit fitbit.com/welcome/your-program-store-name
  2. Enter your unique code.
  3. Choose your device and follow the instructions to check out.

If you have trouble purchasing your Fitbit device, or if you don’t know your unique code, contact your Fitbit Care program provider.

How do I join a Fitbit Care program?

Set up your Fitbit device to join your Fitbit Care program. For more information, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

If you ordered your device through your program's store, you’ll be prompted to join your Fitbit Care program after you set up your Fitbit device.

If you received a Fitbit Care invitation in your email
  1. Tap the link, or tap Join now if you received an email invitation.
  2. Follow the instructions to create or login to your Fitbit Account.
  3. From the Fitbit app, tap Activate membership.
  4. If requested, enter additional information to verify your access to the program.

How do I leave a Fitbit Care community?
  1. From the Fitbit app, tap the You tab Groups.
  2. Tap the group you want to leave.
  3. Tap the 3 dots in the corner Leave Group.
How do I leave a Fitbit Care program?
If you sign in with your Google Account
  1. Tap the Today tab , and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Fitbit settings Fitbit Care.
  3. Tap settings Leave.
  4. Tap Leave and confirm.

  1. Tap the Today tab , and tap settings .
  2. Tap Fitbit Care settings Leave.
  3. Tap Leave and confirm.
How do I see my group's ranking in a Fitbit Care program?
  1. From the Fitbit app, tap the You tab  , and then tap the Leaderboard tile. If you don’t see the Leaderboard tile, contact your program administrator.
  2. Tap to filter the leaderboard results by date range, participants, and activity type.

Note: Only your program administrator can turn off the leaderboard option in the app, but you can leave the program at any time.

When can I move Fitbit to my Google Account as a Fitbit Care program member?

If you sign in to your Fitbit account, you'll be notified when you can move Fitbit to your Google Account.

Note: After your account is eligible, you have 90 days to move Fitbit to your Google Account. To stay in your Fitbit Care program, make sure you move your account within 90 days.
