Sync your device with the Fitbit app on your iPhone or Android phone. To verify that your phone is compatible with the Fitbit app, visit fitbit.com/devices.
Syncing is the process that transfers the data your device collects to your Fitbit account. Track your progress, see how you slept, set goals, log food and water, and more in the Fitbit app.
Fitbit trackers, watches, and Fitbit Aria Air use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to sync with phones and tablets. Fitbit Aria and Fitbit Aria 2 use Wi-Fi to connect directly to your router.
To make sure your device can sync with the Fitbit app, visit fitbit.com/devices.
Fitbit devices
Data automatically syncs to the Fitbit app throughout the day. Each time you open the Fitbit app, your device syncs automatically when it's nearby.

- With your device nearby, open the Fitbit app and tap the Today tab .
- Tap and hold on the screen and pull down.
Or use the Sync Now option:
- From the Today tab , tap Devices device image.
- Tap Sync Now.

- With your watch nearby, open the Fitbit app and tap the Today tab .
- Press and hold on the screen and pull down.
Or use the Sync Now option on your watch:
- Press the crown, swipe up to the Today app , and tap the app to open it.
- Swipe to the bottom, and tap Sync.
Fitbit Aria or Fitbit Aria 2 automatically syncs your stats to the Fitbit app after every weigh-in.
A checkmark appears after data is synced. See your stats in the Fitbit app.
