Track movement and activity on Fitbit Ace LTE

Important: This feature requires an Active Ace Pass subscription.

Fitbit Ace LTE measures a range of movement and different activities as you move throughout the day.1

Active Minutes are rewarded during moderate to vigorous exercise (eg. running, dancing, swimming, etc). Your Fitbit Ace LTE also records time spent doing lighter exercise (eg. walking) as well as steps taken and floors climbed.

Move Goal

Your Move Goal is your daily activity target.  You earn points whenever you’re moving. The more effort you put in, the faster you earn. Your Move Goal starts at 90 points, which is approximately 45 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity (Active Minutes) daily. This can be adjusted on your Fitbit Ace LTE watch.

Set your Move Goal on Fitbit Ace LTE

  1. Tap your move points total on the home screen Set Goal.
  2. Swipe left or right to choose the desired goal in the list.
  3. Tap to confirm the selected goal.

Viewing activity on the Fitbit Ace watch

Note: Your Move points are displayed on your home screen beside pts. This is not your step count.
  1. Progress towards your Move Goal is displayed on your watch face in points (pts) and Noodle completion progress.
  2. Tap your Move points to view details.

Viewing your child’s movement and activity data

  1. Open the Fitbit Ace app on your phone.
  2. On your child’s card, select Movement .
  3. From there, you can see your child’s weekly Move goal progress and their daily step count, and Active and Light minutes.

How does Fitbit Ace LTE count steps taken?

Fitbit Ace LTE uses an accelerometer to count steps. This sensor also allows the watch to determine the frequency, duration, intensity, and patterns of your movement.

How does Fitbit Ace LTE count floors climbed?

Fitbit Ace LTE has an altimeter sensor that detects when you go up in elevation.

How do the Fitbit Arcade games work?

Games in the Fitbit Arcade are designed to help motivate your child to meet their movement and activity goals. All games require movement to progress the game.

As your child works on completing their daily Move Goals they’ll unlock game play sessions. The more your child moves the more game playtime will be unlocked.

Tips for exercising with your Fitbit Ace LTE

Regularly clean your band and wrist—especially after working out, sweating, or washing your hands. Fitbit Ace LTE is water resistant and splash proof.2 We still recommend that you take the watch off after it gets wet, and that you dry the watch and band well before putting it back on.  As with any wearable device, it’s best for your skin if the band is clean and dry.

Fitbit Ace LTE can withstand some rain, shallow pools, and sweat from exercise, but it should not be submerged for extended periods, used during high-speed or high-impact water sports, or exposed to soapy water or other liquids. Learn more at Clean and care for Fitbit Ace LTE.
