If you're a parent, you can find the location of your child’s Fitbit Ace LTE in the Fitbit Ace app once location sharing is turned on.1

  2. Go to your child’s card and tap Settings .
  3. Select Location settings
  4. Enable all options to be able to see your child's location in the Fitbit Ace app.

  1. Open the Fitbit Ace app .
  2. Go to your child’s card.
  3. Select Locate device.

What prevents the Fitbit Ace app from showing your child's location

  • Their watch is powered off.
  • Their watch has low or no GPS signal.
  • Their watch isn't connected to the internet.
  • Their watch has been off wrist for an extended period.

Location accuracy

Google location accuracy uses Wi-Fi, mobile networks and sensors to estimate a device’s location. The Fitbit Ace app won’t be able to find your child’s device if you turn this feature off.

Updated time

When you request your child’s location from the Fitbit Ace app, it loads and displays the location of your child’s Fitbit Ace LTE when the device was last located. To refresh a device’s last known location, select in the top right corner.

If the app shows “Updated now,” the app was able to locate your child’s Fitbit Ace LTE. Otherwise, the app shows how much time has passed since the Fitbit Ace LTE was located.

Battery percentage

Next to the updated time, the app displays the battery percentage of your child’s Fitbit Ace LTE at the time of the last update.

Off wrist

If your child’s Fitbit Ace LTE detects that it is off your child’s wrist at the time of the location request, ‘Off wrist’ appears. When a Fitbit Ace LTE is off wrist, it goes to sleep after some time. You won't be able to access its current location. You should still see the last known location.
