Gemini mobile apps are currently available in multiple languages and more than 150 countries. We’ll gradually expand to more languages, countries, and territories, consistent with local regulations and our AI principles.
Your “Gemini mobile app” may be any of the following:
- On Android: the Gemini app, including as your mobile assistant
- On iOS: the Gemini tab in the Google app
What you need to use Gemini mobile apps
To use your Gemini mobile app, you must be 13 (or the applicable age in your country) or over, and signed in to a personal Google Account that you manage on your own.
- If you're using a work or school account:
- You can't access the Gemini mobile app if you’re using Gemini Advanced or if you're using a school account. The mobile app will be available soon for these users.
- If you are using a work account without access to Gemini Advanced, you can access the Gemini mobile app on an Android device with a work account if your Workspace administrator has enabled access to both Gemini Apps and Google Assistant. If you’re a Google Workspace administrator, learn how to enable access to Gemini Apps as an additional service.
- You can’t access Gemini Apps with a Google Account managed by Family Link or with a Google Workspace for Education account designated as under the age of 18.
- You can’t access the Gemini mobile app in the Android Work Profile. Learn more about Android Work Profiles.
Device requirements
On Android, the Gemini mobile app is available on:
- Android phones, including many foldables
- Android tablets, including Pixel Tablet
with 2 GB of RAM or more, running Android 10 and up.
Supported languages
To choose an eligible language, in your Gemini mobile app, tap your profile picture or initial Settings Languages choose a language. If you choose a language that works with Gemini and Google Assistant, it will open your Assistant language settings to choose a language.
