Create and manage Performance Max campaigns with Shopify, Woo, GoDaddy, BigCommerce, and PrestaShop

Third-party platforms can help you set up and track Performance Max campaigns quickly and easily. This article explains how to connect your Merchant Center account to 5 of our partner platforms: Shopify, Woo, GoDaddy, BigCommerce, and PrestaShop.

Connect your account to Shopify

Before you begin

Before integrating your Performance Max campaigns with Shopify, you’ll have to set up Google & YouTube in Shopify.

After completing this step, your Merchant Center and Shopify accounts are linked together. The information from your Shopify account always overwrites the information in your Merchant Center account, so any updates or other changes should be made in your Shopify account only.

After you’ve set up Google & YouTube in Shopify and set up billing in Google Ads, you’ll be ready to manage or create new Performance Max campaigns in Google Merchant Center.

Connect your account to Woo

Before you begin

Before integrating your Performance Max campaigns with Woo, you’ll have to install and set up the Google Listings & Ads asset from the Woo Marketplace.

Instructions

To create a Performance Max campaign in Woo:

  1. Open the Woo tab in your website’s admin dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the "Marketing" section in the sidebar menu.
  3. Select Google Listings & Ads.
  4. Click Start Listing Products.
  5. Follow the instructions to connect your Google Merchant Center and Google Ads accounts.
  6. Verify your site, then select your target audiences.
  7. Configure your tax and shipping settings.
    • Changes you make to your tax and shipping settings in Woo are automatically made in your Merchant Center account as soon as you make them.
  8. Click Add paid campaign to connect your Google Ads account, select your target audience, and set your daily budget and billing details.

After your campaign is live, you’ll be able to track its performance.


Connect your account to GoDaddy

Before you begin

Before integrating your Performance Max campaigns with GoDaddy, you must connect your Marketplaces to Google Merchant Center, and connect to Google Ads.

Instructions

To create a Performance Max campaign in GoDaddy:

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Scroll to "Websites + Marketing" and select your website or store.
  3. From your Dashboard, select Commerce > Marketplaces & Social.
  4. Go to "Google & YouTube" and select Manage.
  5. Select Enable Performance Max Campaigns.
  6. Follow the steps to name your campaign.
  7. Enter a daily budget and enable sales tracking.
  8. Review your campaign details before clicking Finish.

Connect your account to BigCommerce

Before you begin

To run Google Ads on BigCommerce, you’ll have to install the Ads and Listings on Google app and connect your storefront. If you aren't currently a BigCommerce merchant, get started here.

Instructions

To connect your Google Merchant Center account and begin creating Performance Max campaigns in BigCommerce, install Ads and Listings on Google and follow the simple 5-step process:

  1. Select your storefront on BigCommerce.
  2. Connect to your Google Account (Confirm Google requirements are met).
  3. Connect your Google Merchant Center account to sync your products.
  4. Connect your Google Ads account.
  5. Click Campaigns > Create campaign to set your budget and create a Performance Max campaign.
Important: You must complete the Post Onboarding Stepper for your campaign to run.

Connect your account to PrestaShop

Before you begin

To seamlessly run a Performance Max campaign within your PrestaShop back office, navigate to the “Marketing” section on the left side menu where you can access the PrestaShop Marketing with Google module. Alternatively, you can download the module on the PrestaShop Marketplace.

Instructions

To create a Performance Max campaign in PrestaShop, follow these steps:

  1. Link your PrestaShop account and Consent to data sharing.
  2. Connect to your Google Account.
  3. Connect or create a Google Merchant Center account to start listing your products.
  4. Connect or create a Google Ads account.
  5. Create Performance Max campaign:
    1. Click Launch campaign.
    2. Enable sales tracking to measure your Ads performance.
    3. Follow the instructions on the campaign form to:
      1. Name your campaign.
      2. Choose the duration.
      3. Select your target audience.
      4. Define the products you want to promote.
      5. Set a daily budget.

After these elements are set, you are ready to launch your campaign by clicking Create campaign.
