Starting November 2022 Google is making changes to the look and feel of the Billing Settings page for customers on automatic & manual payments. All elements of the current Settings page will still be available but the design is changing to make it simpler and more intuitive. There will be no changes for customers on monthly invoicing.
The Billing Settings page, found under the “Settings” section of “Billing” in the Main menu, contains information about your payment methods, how you pay, payer details, payments users & contacts and your Google Payments account. Information on the page is now placed into sections. You can open each section by just clicking on it or by clicking the chevron on the right hand side of it.
Payment methods
In the “Payment methods” section, you can view and manage your primary form(s) of payment, and add a new payment method, or a backup payment method. For manual payments customers, you will find your last payment method used. Click “Manage payment methods” to go to the “Payment methods” page in Google Ads. To learn more about available payment methods in your country, visit this help center page.
How you pay
In the “How you pay” section, you can review the way you pay for Google Ads. Depending on which options are available in your account, you can update your payment settings to switch between manual or automatic payments, and update your payment threshold. Payments users/contacts
Depending on your account type, you may find a section for either Payments users or Payments contacts. Within this section you can view users or contacts who receive Payments-related communications, like payment method expiration notices. If you are an Admin user, you can click Add a new user to add a name, email address, and email preferences to set up a new payments user. If you’re not an Admin user, you’ll need to ask your Admin to add a new user or contact Google Ads support.
Payer details
The “Payer details” section shows information about the person or party that’s responsible for paying for your Ads account. Within this section you can find your Payments profile ID, country/region and currency, account type, name, address, and document language preferences. Click the pencil icon where available to update fields, and click Save when you’ve finished making updates.
