Cost per install: Definition

Cost per install (CPI) means that you pay for each app installation on a user device. For CPI bidding campaigns, you need to set a maximum cost per install bid or 'max. CPI', which would be the average amount that you'd like to spend each time that someone clicks on the 'Install' button on your ad.
