How to create a solution
- In your Google Ads account, click the Tools icon .
- Click the Bulk actions drop-down in the section menu.
- Click Solutions.
- Under the 'Solutions' tab, click the plus button to open the 'All solutions' side window.
- Click Create new under the desired solution type.
- Provide the name of your solution in the 'Solution name' field.
- Edit the customisation based on your needs.
- Click Save.
How to run a solution
- In your Google Ads account, click the Tools icon .
- Click the Bulk actions drop-down in the section menu.
- Click Solutions.
- Review your list of solutions and find the solution that you want to run, then navigate to the 'Actions' column.
- From the drop-down menu in the 'Actions column', click Run.
- Click Authorise to allow the solution to operate on your behalf.
How to preview a running solution
- In your Google Ads account, click the Tools icon .
- Click the Bulk actions drop-down in the section menu.
- Click Solutions.
- Review your list of solutions and click on the solution that you want to run.
- Scroll down to the 'Preview' section and click Run preview.
- To check if the solutions ran successfully, review the 'Solutions history' section.
- Click Changes to track the successful changes.
To edit an existing solution, navigate to 'Actions' for the existing solution, then click 'Options' and a drop-down will appear. Click 'Edit'.
To discard an existing solution, navigate to 'Actions' for the existing solution, then click 'Options' and a drop-down will appear. Click 'Remove'.
How to schedule a running solution
- In your Google Ads account, click the Tools icon .
- Click the Bulk actions drop-down in the section menu.
- Click Solutions.
- Review your list of solutions and find the solution that you want to run, then navigate to the 'Schedule' column.
- From the drop-down menu in the 'Schedule', click the pencil icon.
- Choose a frequency and time frame from the drop-down menus. Click Save.
- Click Authorise to allow scripts to make changes on your behalf.
