YouTube’s best in ads is a compilation of top-performing ads and are displayed in no particular order in a dashboard. This means that the ads featured on the dashboard are not stack-ranked. The ads will refresh every 30 days with fresh examples of best performers. 

I’m seeing an error message that 'no videos match your criteria'. 

Our methodology ensures that only top-performing ads appear in the dashboard, and in this case, no ads passed our threshold. We recommend broadening your search or modifying your filters if you wish to see more examples, otherwise keep checking back as we refresh the ad examples every 30 days.

Why is this dashboard not available in my region? 

As of November 2024, the dashboard will feature video examples from the US, UK, Canada, India, Australia and New Zealand. Please check back in 2025 to see if it’s launched in your region.

How do you define drive action and drive views?

Drive action is based on lower-funnel performance metrics like clicks, conversions, etc. Meanwhile, Drive views is based on upper-funnel performance metrics like view rates. 

How are top ads defined if no filter for marketing objectives are selected?

If no filters for marketing objectives are selected, top ads from across both categories will be shown instead.

What video ad formats are available in the dashboard?

You can filter results by either in-stream ads or Shorts ads.

How do I share an ad?

To share an ad, click the 'Share' button on the video card. This will copy the ad's URL to your clipboard, which you can then paste into your preferred sharing platform.

I clicked on 'Load more' and got to the end of the ad examples. How do I load more examples?

The number of ads analysed every 30 days is limited and we recommend broadening your search by changing your filters if you wish to see more examples. Otherwise, keep checking back as we refresh the examples every 30 days.

I found an ad that is violating Google’s ad policy. How do I report it?
