Reference images

Previously, you could only provide a text prompt to guide image generation. Now, you can also add up to 5 reference images to match their style, subject, or composition. For the best result, use reference images that have similar styles.

You can provide reference images when generating new images, replacing an image’s background, and adding or replacing objects. However, you won’t be able to provide reference images when erasing objects.

Use reference images when generating new images

  1. In your Google Ads account, on the page menu, click Tools Tools Icon.
