Create a website or landing page for your ads

When you advertise with Google Ads, you link your online ads to your website. If you don't already have a website or a free local page with Business Profile, create one with the easy-to-use tools for free. If you don't want to create a website, alternatively create a local page with Business Profile and advertise with Smart Campaigns in Google Ads.

If you are setting up your first campaign without a website, you have 2 main options available that we’ve mentioned in this article.

Domain endings like .company, .photography, and .guru can help you find a meaningful name that stands out on the web. Website building providers offer features like secure, reliable hosting, e-commerce, customizable web templates, and mobile site management. No coding is required.

2. Use your Business Profile as a landing page

If you have a local business and don’t already have a Business profile, you can create one so that your ad can appear on Google Search and Maps. Learn more About Google Business Profile.

To use your Business Profile as a landing page, create a new campaign and select the “Your Business Profile (optimized for your ads)” option when choosing where users should go after they click on your ad. This option only works with Smart campaigns. Learn more About Business Profile (optimized for ads).
