With Google Ads, you choose a daily budget for each campaign based on your advertising goals and the average amount you're comfortable spending each day. You can change your budget at any time.

How to set a campaign's average daily budget
You can set your campaign’s average daily budget from the Campaigns page:
- In your Google Ads account, go to “Campaigns” and find the campaign whose budget you want to set. If you're working with a monthly budget, divide that number by 30.4.
- In the “Budget” column, click the pencil icon .
- Enter a new average daily budget.
- Click Save.
How to change a campaign's average daily budget
You can change your average daily budget at any time and as many times as you like. Here's how to edit your daily campaign budget from the Campaigns page:
- In your Google Ads account, go to "Campaigns" and find the campaign you'd like to edit.
- In the “Budget” column, click the pencil icon .
- Enter a new average daily budget.
- Click Save.
Tips
- Get a recommendation. Google Ads shows recommended budgets for campaigns that repeatedly meet their average daily budget but can earn more clicks and impressions.
- Actively monitor accounts. Check your account regularly to find campaigns that are limited by budget or have leftover spend. A limited budget could mean fewer clicks and impressions than you might have otherwise earned.
