When you see and open a lead form from an ad running on Google Search, YouTube, or the Promotions and Social tabs in Gmail, some fields in the lead form could be pre-filled when you're signed in to your Google Account or your YouTube account.
Your information is only shared with the advertiser if you choose to submit the form. If you don’t want your information pre-filled in the lead form, you can opt out of ad personalization.
Depending on the type of ad you see, the pre-filled fields in the lead form can be:
- "Full name" (including "First name/Last name")
- "Email"
- "Phone number"
- "Zip/Postal code"
- “City”
- “State / Province”
- “Country”
Each field is gathered from different sources. These sources include:
- Your Google Account (for the "Full name", "Email", and “Phone number” fields)
- Your IP address (for the "Zip/Postal code" field)
Note: If the "Full name" and "Email" field is incorrect, make sure you're signed in to the correct Google Account (your Google Account is also the same as your YouTube account). If you're signed in to the correct Google Account, update the personal info listed in your account.
