For subtitles in your language, turn on YouTube captions. Select the settings icon at the bottom of the video player, then select 'Subtitles/CC' and choose your language.
Recommendations is an entire section of your Google Ads account dedicated to helping you improve the performance of your campaigns. Optimisation score is an estimate of how well your Google Ads account is set to perform, and helps you prioritise recommended actions for your campaigns.
Recommendations and your optimisation score can be found in the Recommendations page of the app, which you can access via the bottom navigation bar. In addition, you can also find an optimisation score card in your account overview page with your account and campaign-level optimisation scores.

What the Recommendations page helps you do
If you have an account history to work with, the Recommendations page can help you:
- See performance estimates based on historical data: While the Recommendations page doesn't predict whether your ads will do well, it does tap into a lot of data from the past, like your campaign performance and what people search for on Google, to give you an idea of how each recommendation might improve your performance.
- Make improvements without spending a lot of time: The Recommendations page looks for suggestions for you, so that you can focus on making decisions instead of conducting research.
- Keep your campaigns fresh: Have you been using the same keywords for a while? When's the last time you changed your bidding? The Recommendations page can help you keep your account fresh.
