View, save, and delete clips

When you capture with Google Clips, your clips are stored on the camera until you choose to save them to your phone or delete them. Clips are saved to your phone as motion photos by default and can also be saved as still photos, animated GIFs, or videos.

Note: If you have Timelapse turned on, the camera may also generate timelapses. A timelapse is a clip that is created with a low frame rate, but played back at a faster speed. This means you can watch events that take place over a long period of time in a short clip. Timelapses will appear with other clips on the Clips app home screen and will have a badge in the upper right corner. Timelapses and standard clips can be made at the same time, from the same footage. You may see the same events in both a clip and a timelapse.
