Keep your Google Clips camera charged so you're always ready to capture clips of your friends, family, and pets!
Note: Your new Clips camera may not be fully charged out of the box. Make sure the battery is fully charged before your first capture.
How to charge your Google Clips camera
Plug your Google Clips camera into a power source using the included USB-C to USB-A cable. The charging port is on the bottom of your Google Clips camera.
Charging tips
How to charge quickly
- Charge your camera using the power adapter and a wall outlet. Charging from a computer will be slower.
- You can use your camera while charging, but it may charge more slowly.
Charging Google Clips in the case
To charge your Google Clips camera while it's in the clip stand, simply peel back the bottom of the case to reveal the USB-C charging port.
Battery care
- For optimal charging, use the USB-C cable that came with your device or another USB-C cable from Google. For more details, read the Safety and Regulatory Guide for Google Clips.
- Keep it cool
- Avoid letting your device overheat. Your battery drains much faster when it's hot, even if you're not using it. This kind of drain can damage your battery.
Technical notes
