Nest Hub displays can help you celebrate birthdays by counting down the days to your birthday, as well as the birthdays of your friends and family. When the birthday of a home member or one of their contacts gets close, a daily countdown will appear on your display. To use the birthday countdown on your display, you’ll need to allow personal results. This feature is only available on devices set to English.
Note: With personal results on and set to “Always display proactively,” birthdays will be visible to anyone with access to your display. If you have Face Match turned on, your birthday countdown will only appear when your display recognizes you.
Birthday countdowns will occur for:
- Yourself and any other home members associated with your display.
- Any home member’s contacts from “Your people” in Assistant who have a birthday set.
