Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) can intelligently turn off your HVAC during periods when the outside temperature can naturally heat or cool your home to save energy. For example, if it’s a sunny day, your thermostat may pause heating in order to take advantage of the sun to finish heating your home to the desired temperature.
- Natural Heating is usually used to help warm your home in the morning.
- Natural Cooling is usually used to help cool your home in the evening.
- Window reminders sends you a notification to open your windows when natural heating or cooling starts.
