Change Wifi router or point name

You can change the name of Nest Wifi and Google Wifi routers and points in the Google Home app.

Open the Google Home app .
Tap Favorites Wifi .
Tap Wifi devices.
Under “Points,” tap your router or point.
Tap Settings Device name. For some points, "Device name" will appear after tapping Device information.
Enter a new device name.
Tap Save.
