Broadcast from one speaker or display to other speakers or displays
What you need
- Two or more Google Assistant speakers or displays.
- All speakers or displays are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- At least one member of the household has signed in to each of the speakers or displays.
- Do not disturb and Downtime are off.
- Speaker or display's firmware version is 1.39154941 or later.
Where will the broadcast play?
- are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- are signed in to the same Google Account(s) as the originating device.
Broadcast from phone to speaker or display
What you need
- A phone with Google Assistant.
- At least one speaker or display.
- Set up the Google Assistant app.
- The same Google Account signed in on the phone is signed in to each speaker or display.
- Do not disturb is off.
- Speaker or display's firmware version is 1.39154941 or later.
Where will the broadcast play?
Your phone doesn't need to be on the same Wi-Fi network as your speakers or displays.

Voice Match and broadcasting messages
Anyone (including users enrolled in Voice Match and guests) can broadcast a message.
Reply to a broadcast
You can reply to a broadcast after it plays. Your reply will only be sent to the original broadcasting device. Other speakers or displays and mobile devices will not get your reply.
