To set up your Google Nest or Home speaker or display, Google streaming device, TV or speaker that works with Google Cast, or Google Assistant speaker, you need to upgrade to the latest version of the Google Home app. Upgrading will also allow you to get new features and have a better experience.
Update the Google Home app
- Go to the App Store

- At the bottom right of the screen, tap Search.
- Tap your account.
- Find the Google Home app.
- Tap Update.
