Manage your Google News notifications

You can choose the amount and types of notifications you receive from Google News. In the Google News app, you can manage your notifications.

Check your notifications

1. On your mobile device, open the Google News app .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial.
3. Tap Notifications & shared .

Tip: To check your notifications, you must sign in to your Google Account.

Change your notifications

1. On your mobile device, open the Google News app .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial.
3. Tap News settings .
4. Tap Notifications.
   • To get notifications, turn on Get notifications.
   • To stop all notifications, turn off Get notifications.
5. To control the amount of notifications you get, under “Number of notifications” tap an amount between “Low” and “High.”
   • To choose what type of notifications you get, next to each notification type, turn notifications on or off.

Tip: To change your notifications, you must sign in to your Google Account.

Update your daily briefing emails & notifications

1. On your mobile device, open the Google News app .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial.
3. Tap News settings .
4. To get your daily briefing emails, turn on Daily briefing emails.

Tip: To receive daily briefing emails and notifications, you must sign in to your Google Account.
