You can share stories that you find on Google News through your Google News app or other apps.
Tip: Shared stories are only available through apps.
Share a story
Important:
- Some features are available if you're signed in to your Google Account.
- If you share a paid story, others may not access it until they pay for it.
Share directly from the Google News app
- Open your Google News app .
- Under a story that you want to share, tap More Share .
- Select one or more people.
- If you share with a phone number or email address, it sends a link to the story.
- Tap Send.
Share through other apps
You can share through other apps, like social media.
- Open your Google News app .
- Under a story that you want to share, tap More Share .
- Tap the app that you want.
- If it doesn't appear, scroll to the left.
Manage stories shared through Google News
You can find or remove stories that you shared with others and that were shared with you.
Find stories shared through Google News
- Open your Google News app .
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial.
- Tap Notifications and shared Shared.
Remove shared stories
- Open your Google News app .
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial.
- Tap Notifications and shared Shared.
- Under a story that you want to remove, tap More Remove share .
Block or unblock people who share
If you want to stop someone who directly shares stories with you, you can block their account.
- Open your Google News app .
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial.
- Tap Notifications and shared Shared.
- Under a story shared by someone that you want to block, tap More Block user .
Tip: You can unblock accounts that you’ve blocked. Learn more about how to block or unblock people.
