Cancel or downgrade a Drive storage plan
Google Drive storage plans are non-refundable, but you can cancel your plan so that it doesn't automatically renew. To cancel or downgrade:
Downgrade your plan
- Go to google.com/settings/storage.
- Click the rate on the plan you want.
- Click Subscribe.
- You'll get a confirmation email. On the start of the next month of your plan, your plan will be canceled or downgraded.
Cancel your plan
- Go to google.com/settings/storage.
- Under your current plan, click Cancel plan.
Canceled plans are non-refundable and can't be transferred from one Google Account to another.
Cancel or downgrade storage on your Google One membership
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google One app .
- At the top, tap Menu Settings Cancel membership.
- To confirm, tap Cancel membership.
You should get a confirmation that your subscription is cancelled.
If you sign up through the App Store
If you sign up for Google One through the App Store on an iPhone or iPad and later switch to an Android device: You can't adjust your membership or change your payment method in the app. To update your account and other info, use the App Store on another device.If you've upgraded to Google One, learn how to change your storage.
Update your payment information
You can update your payment information at any time.
If your storage payment has been declined, you'll need to update your payment information:
- Sign in to payments.google.com.
- Click Payment methods.
- Update your payment information:
- Pay with another card on file.
- Update the billing address or expiration date of your current card.
- Add a credit card.
