In the Pixel Buds app, you will find 3 modes to control noise under Active Noise Control (ANC).
-
Noise Cancellation: Blocks outside noise. When you activate this, you'll hear a single chime.
-
Transparency: Lets sound in so you can hear the world around you. When you activate this, you'll hear a double chime.
-
Off: Both active states are disabled. When you activate this, you'll hear a single chime.
Pixel Buds Pro and Pro 2 only: Turn on Conversation Detection to automatically switch from Noise Cancellation mode to Transparency mode when talking and pauses your media. Once you are done talking, your media will resume.
