Charge your Pixel Tablet

To charge your tablet, you can use a USB-C cable or attach it to a Charging Speaker Dock.

Important: To dock your Pixel Tablet or use Hub Mode, you need a Charging Speaker Dock. You can purchase the Pixel Tablet with or without a dock, or purchase a dock separately.

Dock and undock

Charge your tablet with a USB cable

To charge your Pixel Tablet without a Charging Speaker Dock, plug a USB cable into your tablet's USB-C port from a power adaptor plugged into a power source.

To charge your tablet with a USB cable:
  • Both the USB-C cable and adaptor that you use need to support USB 2.0.
  • To charge your tablet with a USB-A power adaptor, use a USB-C to USB-A adaptor. This charges your tablet more slowly than USB-C.
Important: If you bought your Pixel Tablet with a Charging Speaker Dock, you need to purchase a USB-C cable separately to charge your tablet when it isn't docked.
