You can play a variety of games for all ages on the Pixel Tablet, with fun experiences and applications that you can download from Google Play.
Download games from Google Play
Get games and entertainment on your Pixel Tablet. To get started, open the Google Play Store app tap or search for an app and download it.
Open a game that you've downloaded
Games that you download from the Play Store are added to your home screen automatically.
If you can't find the game:
- Swipe up from the centre of your home screen find the game's icon tap it to begin.
- Swipe left on your home screen until you find the game's icon.
For easy access, drag the game's icon to the Taskbar at the bottom of your home screen.
Optimise games for your Pixel Tablet's screen
If you open a game that hasn't been optimised for your tablet's screen, a notification appears to 'Restart for a better view'. To restart the game to make it look better on your tablet's screen, tap Restart.
Games for children
If you set up a child account on your Pixel Tablet, you can set up Kids Space, which provides games and entertainment for children of all ages.
Use Game Dashboard
You can turn on Game Dashboard to access features that enhance your gaming experience. When you turn Game Dashboard on, you'll get shortcuts to screenshots and screen recordings, as well as a 'Do Not Disturb' mode that is activated while you are playing a game.
To turn Game Dashboard on:
- Open your device's Settings app .
- Tap Google Game Dashboard.
- Turn on Use Game Dashboard.
You can also turn on additional settings:
- Game Dashboard floating icon: Turn this on to always show the Game Dashboard shortcut in games.
- Do Not Disturb for games: Turn this on to only get notifications from important people and apps while you are playing a game.
