If your Pixel Tablet has audio or connection issues after you connect it to a Charging Speaker Dock, try the below steps to help resolve the issue.
Important: To dock your Pixel Tablet or use Hub Mode, you need a Charging Speaker Dock. You can purchase the Pixel Tablet with or without a dock, or purchase a dock separately.
Troubleshooting steps
1. Detach and reattach your tablet from the dock
- Detach your tablet from the charging dock.
- Re-attach your tablet to the charging dock.
- Make sure the connection is secure.
2. Plug your Charging Speaker dock into a different power outlet
- Check that the power cable is securely plugged into your dock.
- Verify that another power outlet in your home works plug the dock into it.
3. Plug your Pixel tablet into a power outlet with a cable
- Remove your tablet from the charging dock.
- Plug your tablet into a wall outlet with a USB-C cable and power adapter.
- Verify that your tablet is charging.
- Unplug your tablet from the wall outlet.
- Reattach your tablet to the charging dock.
If your tablet charges with a cable but not when it's attached to the dock, there might be a problem with your dock.
4. Restart your Charging Speaker Dock
To restart your dock:
- Unplug the power cord from your dock.
- Leave the dock unplugged for one minute.
- Plug the power cord back into the dock.
- Wait until you hear the chime to confirm the dock restarted.
5. Restart your Pixel Tablet
If the above solutions don't work, try restarting your tablet.
