Apps that use default Android Emoji without any custom implementations already use the latest version of Unicode Emoji when running on Android 12+.
Apps with custom emoji implementations, including those provided by third-party libraries, must fully support the latest Unicode version when running on Android 12+ within 4 months after new Unicode Emoji are released.
