Test in-app billing with application licensing

With application licensing, you can set up a list of Gmail accounts to test your in-app billing and subscription integration. Your own publishing account is always considered a licensed tester.

Set up application licensing

To set up application licensing, start by adding your testers in Play Console.

  1. Open Play Console.
  2. Click Settings > License testing.
  3. Choose your license testers from the email lists shown, or click Create list to make a new list.
    • Tip: Email lists work in the same way as described under "Create an email list of your testers" in this section of our Help Center article on open, closed, and internal tests.
  4. Click Save changes.

Once you're ready, make sure that:

Test in-app billing and subscriptions

You're able to purchase your own app, one-time product, or subscription as a test purchase. Once you've set up application licensing, authorized users can also purchase one-time products and subscriptions without charging their accounts.

Before they can be tested, your one-time products and subscriptions need to be published.

More information about testing your Google Play Billing Library integration can be found on the Android Developers site.
