Use your phone or computer to install apps and content on other devices

Apps and digital content, such as books, games and movies, are connected to your Google Account, not just your device. If you get a new device, you don’t have to buy them again. You can use them on multiple devices.

Tip: Some content may not be available on all devices.

Content can’t be transferred between accounts

If you own multiple accounts, you can’t transfer content between accounts on Google Play. If you have multiple accounts on your device, before you complete your purchase, make sure that you’re signed in to the account that you want to use.

If you purchased an app on the wrong account, contact the app developer. They may give you a refund for your purchase.
