How to view your taxes and fees

The 'Taxes and fees' page allows you to see a detailed view of the taxes and fees that will be charged to travellers staying at your property.

Instructions

To view your taxes and fees:

  1. Log in to your Hotel Centre account.
  2. Select a property.
  3. On the navigation menu, click Pricing > Taxes and fees.

The 'Taxes and fees' page includes a table that lists the taxes and fees that apply to a single property.

Column name Description
Description name Descriptive name of the tax or fee
Type Tax or fee
Per cent [Taxes only] Percentage rate of the tax
Value [Fees only] The amount of the fee in your local currency
Applied by

How the tax or fee is applied

Examples:

  • Room/night
  • Room/stay
  • Person/night
  • Person/stay
  • Night
  • Stay
Room type (name) / Room type ID Room types to which the tax or fee applies
Rate plan (name) / Rate plan ID Rate plans to which the tax or fee applies
Stay dates Stay dates to which the tax or fee applies
Stay dates application

Describes how stay dates are associated with taxes and fees

  • ANY – Tax or fee applies when at least one night overlaps with the stay date range
  • ALL – Tax or fee applies when all nights overlap with the stay date range
  • OVERLAP – Tax or fee applies to only those nights that overlap with the stay date range
