If you have permission to edit a whiteboard, you can see changes that have been made to a whiteboard in the version history.
Compare & name earlier versions
- On your computer, open a whiteboard at jamboard.google.com.
- At the top, click More See version history.
- Click an earlier version.
- (Optional) To name a version, click More Name this version.
- (Optional) To return to the current version, at the top, click Back .
Restore an earlier version
- On your computer, open a whiteboard at jamboard.google.com.
- At the top, click More See version history.
- Click an earlier version.
- At the top, click Restore this version Restore.
Copy an earlier version
If you don’t want to restore an earlier version of a whiteboard, you can make a copy and edit it instead.
- On your computer, open a whiteboard at jamboard.google.com.
- At the top right, click More See version history.
- Next to the version, click More Make a copy.
- Enter a name for your copy.
- Choose where to save the whiteboard.
- (Optional) To share the whiteboard with the same people, click Share it with the same people.
- Click OK.
Unable to see a previous version of your whiteboard?
The revisions for your jam may occasionally be merged to save storage space.
