Use a web browser, Jamboard, or Google Meet hardware to search for images, add photos, or insert a screenshot of a webpage to a whiteboard.
Add an image using your web browser
- Start or open a whiteboard.
- On the toolbar, click Choose image .
- (Optional) To search for an image:
- At the top, click the tabs to search for an image or choose an image from Google Drive or Google Photos.
- Select an image and click Insert.
- (Optional) To add an image from your local drive, click Upload. Select the image and click Upload again.
- (Optional) To take a picture with the device’s camera, click Camera Take photo Insert.
- (Optional) To display an image from the web, click By URL, enter the URL, and click Insert Image.
Add an image on a Jamboard or Google Meet hardware device
- Start or open a whiteboard.
- On the toolbar, tap Choose image one of the following tools:
- To search for an image, tap Image Search. Use the keyboard to enter a term and tap Search. Tap an image to insert it.
- To search the web, tap Web search. Use the keyboard to enter a term and tap Search. Tap a search resulttap Crop to select part of the web pagetap Insert.
- To insert stickers, tap Stickerstap a sticker to insert it.
- To take a picture with the device’s camera, tap Take photo . To capture and insert the photo, tap Take photo again.
Add an image from the Jamboard mobile app
- Create or open a whiteboard.
- On the toolbar, tap Expand and select an option:
- Drive Content—Select an image from Google Drive to add it.
- Camera—Take a picture with the device’s camera and tap Use Photo.
- Image library—Select an image from the photos on your device to add it.
Insert a screenshot of a webpage
Currently only available on a Jamboard device
- On a Jamboard device, start a whiteboard.
- Tap Choose image .
- Tap Web search.
- Enter a search term and tap Search.
- Tap a result.
- Tap Crop and select the part of the page that you want to insert.
- Tap Insert.
