Enable Jamboard tutorials (demo mode)

To help your users learn how to use Jamboard, turn on an interactive tutorial that demonstrates Jamboard tools. You can keep the Jamboard in demo mode until you turn it off. You might want to do this if you have a new board to display. Or, do it if you want a group of new users to try the board over a certain period. You can also let users turn demo mode on or off at the board.

Enable Jamboard Demo mode

1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

   Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

2. Go to Menu  DevicesJamboardDevices.

   Some features may require having the Jamboard Management privilege.

3. Click a Jamboard.
4. Under Device settings, click the Down arrowto expand the panel.
5. Click Demo mode.
6. Choose how you want to use demo mode:
   • To turn on demo mode and keep it enabled until you turn it off, select Always on.
     You might choose this option if you have a new board to display or a group of new users that you want to access Demo mode.
   • To let users turn demo mode on and off at the Jamboard, select Available.
     You might choose this option if only some users are new to Jamboard.
   • To turn off demo mode on the board, select Unavailable.
7. Click Save.
8. It can take up to 30 seconds for your changes to appear on the board.
