You can add drawings as notes in Google Keep. Create drawings from scratch, add drawings to existing notes, or draw on top of images.
Create a drawing
- On your computer, go to Google Keep.
- At the top, click New note with drawing .
- To start drawing, click and drag in the drawing area.
- To save the drawing, click Back .
- In the bottom right, click Done.
To edit your drawing, open the note and click the drawing.
To make the drawing area bigger, draw in the bottom of the screen and scroll up.
Use the drawing tools
- To select any shape you’ve drawn, click Select .
- To erase a shape, click Eraser .
- To draw thin lines, click Pen .
- To draw thick lines, click Marker .
- To highlight with color, click Highlighter .
- To add grid or rule lines, click Grid .
- To pick the color or size of a tool, go to the tool and click the Down arrow .
Delete your drawing
- On your computer, go to Google Keep.
- Click the note that has the drawing.
- To delete your drawing, click Remove .

- On your computer, go to Google Keep.
- Click the note you want to add a drawing to.
- At the bottom, click More .
- Click Add drawing.
- To start drawing, click and drag in the drawing area.
Add a drawing to an image in a note
- On your computer, go to Google Keep.
- Click the note with the image you want to add a drawing to.
- Click the image.
- At the top right, click the Pen .
- Start drawing.
- To remove a drawing from an image, click the down arrow next to the Eraser .
