Manage your business details between Google Business Profile and Google Local Services Ads

Note: This feature is only available to new Local Services Ads accounts created directly from your Google Business Profile. Learn how to create a Local Services Ads account from Google Business Profile.

When you sign up for Local Services Ads through your Google Business Profile, select business details will be sourced from your Google Business Profile to help you complete the Local Services Ads sign-up. Some of these details will be editable in the Local Services Ads sign-up flow while others will be locked and can only be updated through your Google Business Profile.

The following business details are taken from your Google Business Profile and can only be edited or updated on Google Business Profile:

  • Business name
  • Address
  • Location type (for example, if there is a physical location customers can visit)

After you’ve completed the Local Services Ads sign-up process, any changes made to your business name, address, and location type in Google Business Profile will automatically show in your Local Services Ads account. Learn how to Edit your Business Profile on Google.

Note:

  • Only verified Google Business Profile details will be sourced for your Local Services Ads account. The pending edits won’t be sourced.
  • Any changes you make to your business details in your Local Services Ads account will not be reflected in your Google Business Profile.
