Use TalkBack

Step 1: Turn on TalkBack

If TalkBack isn't already turned on for your Android device, visit learn how to turn on TalkBack.

Step 2: Use TalkBack

Once you've turned on TalkBack, you can navigate in Gmail using standard TalkBack navigation gestures.

  • Two-finger swipe down to refresh your inbox.
  • Swipe down or right to move to the next object on the screen.
  • Double-tap to select an object.

Change text size

To change the text size for Gmail, change the font size for your Android device.

  1. Open your device's Settings app.
  2. Tap Display and then Font size.
